iPhone 13 Battery Not Recognized by Device.

So today, I was just using my phone as usual. However, at one point the device had randomly shut down whilst I was using it. As soon as it happened, I plugged in my iPhone so it would open once again. And when it finally started running, there appeared a message saying that the device was unable to verify if the battery was genuine. However, I have never replaced the battery nor had someone replace it. Now the phone shows a 0% battery level, and can only be used while plugged, and even then it randomly shuts off in the span of minutes, even seconds at a time. Is it just some bug in the software or is there some manufacturing problem I'm not aware of?
