How do I resolve Live Voicemail issues with AT&T on iPhone?

I have a client who after updating to iOS 18.5, their phone started going to voicemail after only 3 rings. They are on ATT and we called ATT to extend the time to the max allowed and it still will only ring 3 times before going to voicemail. I read that live voicemail grabs the call before going to ATT's voicemail and tried turning it off. After turning off live voicemail, it would ring 6 times, then hang up. Clearly live voicemail was limiting the number of rings (the hang up part is also not desirable). Is there a known bug in iOS 18.5 release with AT&T, and/or other carriers that caused this change, is it on a bug list to be fixed?

I haven’t seen any bug reports of that issue, and I have access to reports before they are cataloged. But I’m just a user, like everyone else in this forum.

And my iPhone on iOS 18.5 does not have this issue.

AT&T is my carrier and my phone doesn't go to voicemail after only 3 rings. iOS 18.5 on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. And I use Live Voicemail as well. I think whoever you spoke with at AT&T didn't know what they are talking about, which isn't unusual with carrier support people.
