Can the scammer still monitor my iPhone after the session ends?

Imposter got me to download soho assist app from App Store, and log into join.zoho.com and grant him remote access.

Can he see all the financial institute account info displayed on my phone?

Once the app was deleted and the remote access session ended, can they still see my phone activities? What is the possibility that malware would be planted on my iPhone?

He could open financial apps while the session was active, buy assumedly without your approval or your credentials for such apps he would not be able to see anything.

No. without the app and its permissions there is no longer any way of accessing the iPhone.

What is the possibility that malware would be planted on my iPhone?

Almost impossible, as there is no known malware that can affect an iPhone, and I doubt the remote access app enabled remote installation of apps outside of the App Store, which by definition would be scanned for any malware before being allowed on the App Store.

@Gilusmom

Personally I am sorry to hear that you had to go through such experience.

• To answer your first question there is a possibilty that they could.

• To answer your second question, in my opinion the answer is yes. Even after deleting the application.

• After looking into the application itself in the Apple App Store. There could be a possibility that there is malware "planted" and or in other words "installed" onto you iPhone device without your knowledge.

Do not quote me on all three responses as it is hard to determine that without any diagnostics and or analytics data coming directly from Apple pertaining to your device specifically.

Hoepefully this response assists or helps you.

Sincerely,
