iPhone 15 Plus keeps saving random photos or screenshots I didn’t take

For a couple months now I’ve been finding random either screenshots or photos in my gallery. I know that I am not taking them myself. One time I went to find something in my album and it showed I’d taken one of these blank photos 2 minutes before. I did not do anything for that to happen. Really wishing I could add a picture to show my point

Actually just figured it out. It’s me posting reels to my story but it’s only saving the background. I have it set up so when I post to my story it saves to my reel

Thanks-- I for one would never have thought of that! Can you be more specific in case this comes up again? I'm not sure what "posting reels to my story" means-- we sometimes use different terms in different places. What do you mean by "reels," for instance? Are you doing "stickers," taking the subject out of the background? At what point in the process?
