The lock screen on my iPhone 13 and Apple Watch SE disappears almost immediately, turning the screen black. How can I get it to stay on longer?
The iPhone 13 runs IOS Devices 18.6.2. The Apple Watch SE runs watchOS 11.6. This is extremely annoying. Can anybody help solve this problem?

The lock screen on an iPhone 13 will turn black as soon as the iPhone locks, it does not support Always On. Tapping it will make it light for a short time, just to allow you to unlock it. You can control how long before the screen locks in Settings/Display & Brightness Auto-Lock. If you are in Low Power Mode Auto-Lock will be set to 30 seconds.
On an Watch the screen will turn black unless the watch is horizontal.
