iOS 26 update stuck on 'Update Requested'

I’ve had the same issue, tried everything mentioned here and google. And the only thing that has worked is a simple restart 🤦🏼‍♀️ hope this helps

"Stuck"? How so?

If you just see the Apple Logo, then it is in a Boot Loop. So, connect it to your computer (Mac or PC), and then Frice Restart your iPhone. It will continue from there, as long as you have an Internet connection. See my User Tip: Update your iPhone Using a Computer — Use Tip

Define "too long". It takes as long as it takes. If you think something is wrong, reboot the phone and try again.

Updating Using a Computer:

App Store Issues:

Let it update overnight --there's lots of activity going through Apple's server. App Store prtofrmance seems to be having issues, according to Apple's site: Apple - Support - System Status

Updating an iPhone:

When it comes to updating an iPhone, aside from WiFi or a Computer, your only other option is circumstantial: to update via Cellular
