Face ID issue warning on my iPhone after iOS 26 update, even though it still works

same here did my update this morning and my face ID stopped working. This is a major problem and need to be fixed asap.

Its greyed out, Not even getting to reset it.

Facing the same issue after the new update. I tried setting up new Face ID and tried to reset.That option is turned off.

Face ID and passcode have completely disappeared in settings?!?!

I did this and when I went to go reset Face ID, it said Face ID is not available :(

So most likely it is busted.

iPhone 12 mini won’t let me use Face ID no matter what

You can’t still fails unable to setup Face ID - reset, power cycle, reset Face ID nothing works !

Change the theme to clear .after that face id works well .

Waste of trying power off and restart

Need FaceID to turn off stolen device protection or reset FaceID…and FaceID won’t work…it’s the most silly thing

I'll try that again, I did do this, also a hard reboot. The Face ID seems to work...but it stops again out of nowhere.

Anyway, glad I'm the only one having this issue with iOS26 and Face ID failing.

On my iPhone 11, Face ID no longer works after iOS 26. I hope Apple urgently fixes this issue 😡😡
