Since the iPhone 17 promax has usb-c-3, will the existing usb-c earphones work with new iPhone 17 pro max?

Yes, apple's wired earphones. When i tried buying it along with my iPhone 17 Pro Max, the website notified that it isn't compatible with the new phone. Upon checking the compatibility of the earphone -- iPhone 17 Pro Max isn't listed under it.

I went to pick-up my iPhone 17Pro Max to the apple store and i asked the support guy there and as per him all the apple ear-pods would work with 17 ProMax, so i bought the ear-pods with USB-C. Although, I haven't tested them yet.
As soon as i get around it i will update here. Meanwhile, i'm hoping it will work as per the apple guy.

Sorry but I do not understand your question. Which "existing" usb-c earphones are you asking about? If you are asking about Apple AirPods, they will work. I'm guessing another company's usb-c earphones should work but it would be best to check with the manufacturer.
Hi! I have bought wired type c earbuds for my iPhone 17 pro but the middle button (stop, forward actions) is not working. The volume-/+ is working, I can answer or end a call but for media activities on Spotify, YouTube is not working. I ve tested also with iPhone 17 and they worked but for iPhone 17 pro also not working. Any similar experience?
