How do I switch back to the old keyboard in iOS 26?

The problem is the new ios26 keyblard fonts are thinner. This means more difficult to read. The same problem is a thin frame arround the icons even at default mode (why?) This brinks headache to me and I plan to downgrade to iOS18 or reject my mobile phone to the ve dor!!!

The keys are closer together. If you look at both screen shots you can see that the Q and P reach the edge of the screen. They don’t in the new one. This is probably why I have more typos on the keys close to the sides.

Buy whatever you want. Threatening only other users you may buy an Android on a user to user only forum, where no one from Apple Participates, nor reads for user feedback, doesn't matter to us in any way.

Yes, the keys are the same size. I used your screenshot (and admittedly cropped the top poorly) and used a ruler tool of my own. The lines are translated only vertically across the keyboards. You can see that not only are the spaces between keys smaller, but they are also inconsistent. This is the problem, not the size of the keys.

You can't. And honestly, the keyboard is hardly different from the previous keyboard. Just like with all changes in life, we somehow manage to adapt.

Since going to iPadOS 26, the ‘Caps lock’ key on my iPad Air 3 has become a key that immediately changes my keyboard to the Greek language layout; I bounce about a bit, so I regularly use English (UK), (US), (Canada), and for mathematical symbols, Greek. Having this new button, arbitrarily changing to Greek, is frustrating me no end, because I am not able to switch that key to one which would be useful, for example, like opening the Emoji keyboard. Or better yet, go back to ‘Caps lock’ key, and then I can go to the little ‘world’ icon and choose the keyboard that I wish to use.

I don't like the grey background of the keyboard and the keys are elongated making it harder to hit the right key. Would love to go back to iOS 18!

Elongated key design/style makes it harder to hit the right key. I also don't like the dark grey background. This new keyboard design is on in Messages (fortunately not in email and WhatsApp).

I would like my camera on my phone to switch back to the old one on ios 26 update and I would like my old keyboard as well

I keep mistaking , the enter and the delete button, I do not like this new keyboard. I would like to switch back to the previous one.

How am I supposed to adapt to Apple completely changing words I type into different ones even thought I typed the original one correctly
