My MacBook will not show on find my.

when in system systems, going to apple account>devices>MacBook, find my Mac is disabled. However when in system settings, when going apple account>iCloud>see all>find my Mac> it is on. I've talked to multiple people at apple support and after 4 hours the best they could come up with was "wait for the software update." They had no clue either. I'm on the latest version of macOS Tahoe. Anybody else going through this that may have a solution?

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 26.0

You can try removing the device, to solve issue then add it back in

Remove a device in Find My on Mac

if necessary log in here in an effort to make progress on your issue

no resolve—

TCC Database (Transparency, Consent, and Control) database becomes inconsistent,

reset permissions related to both your System & iCloud services.

From the Terminal.app copy and paste

tccutil reset SystemPolicySysAdminFiles && tccutil reset SystemPolicyAllFiles

Shutdown and restart your Mac and compare your results

always advised to have current backups in the event things go sideways you can always restore.

So I cannot remove my laptop from the find my app on my MacBook because my MacBook does not show up there. I’ve completed all other steps you’ve outlined and none worked.

Ok Giorvani — you gave it the old college try mate. Seems you are reduced to waiting for a point-update to sort your issue
