"Add eSIM" button is missing on my iPhone 14 Plus

I can't find the "add eSIM" button anywhere on my iPhone 14 Plus. It's strange that when I enter eSIM into the search engine in the settings, the button is there, but when I click on it, it just opens the "Mobile Network" settings and nothing else. I tried restarting, airplane mode, resetting all settings, even erasing my entire iPhone and reinstalling everything, and still nothing.

Oops … you said two conflicting things.

  • “The model number of this phone is A2632.” This is an iPhone 14+ as sold in the United States.
  • “… after the update, even my physical SIM card didn't work, but that was fixed after patch 26.0.1.”

An A2632 iPhone does not accept a SIM card! It uses eSIM only.

You do not have a legitimate iPhone.

Are you saying that you had an eSIM installed on the phone and now it has disappeared and you are trying to add it back in?

Or

Are you saying that you have never installed an eSIM on the phone, but you want to do this now, and there is no "Add eSIM" button in the settings?

Tap Settings > General > About

What is the Model Number of the iPhone?

Now, tap directly on the Model Number and another 5 character number will appear.....something like Axxxx. What is the 5 character number that appears?

The model number of this phone is A2632. I've had this phone for about two weeks and have never had an eSIM activated on it, so I've never had the option to "add eSIM" in the settings. I thought it was because of iOS 26, because after the update, even my physical SIM card didn't work, but that was fixed after patch 26.0.1. However, the button did not appear.
