I have an iPhone 17. My wife has an iPad. When I am on a phone call on the iPhone, i see several options for the call audio. Phone, Speaker, AirPods, and also her iPad.
How do i remove her iPad from appearing as an audio output option? thank you

Ist ein ug von iOS 26. Lösung: Bedienhilfen -> Audio und Visuelles -> Anrufaudioausgabe" von "Automatisch" auf "Bluetooth-Headset" einstellen. Die Fehlanzeige ist dann weg. Wenn man einmal in dieser Stellung angerufen hat oder angerufen wurde, kann man danach auch wieder auf "automatisch" stellen und die Fehlanzeige bleibt weg.
No working solution yet. Two Apple support techs (one in Apple chat, the other a telephone call Senior Tech) both acknowledged other customers reporting this and it is a bug, but no ETA on fix from Apple.

Does it appear at iPhone > Settings > scroll down > Apps > Phone > Calls on Other Devices. If not it may be a carrier specific option. I’m using AT&T. Who is your carrier?

I found how to stop my Macs and my family's Macs in the house from broadcasting as Audio Output options to my phone when on home wifi - after turning off Continuity didnt seem to help. I ran this in a terminal on each Mac in the house to switch off their mDNS/BonJour broadcast. The Macs still use BonJour to discover printers and devices, but they stop broadcasting to the wifi that they are audio output devices. I rebooted each mac twice after applying the command below in a terminal window.
sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.mDNSResponder.plist NoMulticastAdvertisements -bool YES

I have the same issue - transferred
from a 16 pro to the 17 air and iPad is appearing as a speaker option - the wired thing is that I don’t have the “call on other devices” in cellular or phone app settings ( I can find this option anywhere - any idea how I fix it , it’s really anoying
did you find any solution to these? I cant seem to find any solution for this… confirmed this is a bug since my friend has the same problem his son’s ipad and wife’s ipad keep showing as an option for audio output in a call

I dont have both devices with me right now, but will try this in the morning. thank you for your suggestion.
I tried the steps above on the phone, but no change. Still see other family members ipads and laptops as audio output options when on a phone call in the phone app.
indidnt change providers just the iPhone from 16 pro to air and also u see apps - phone I don’t have this option

I'm using iOS 26.1. Within Cellular there is no option "Calls on Other Devices".
Have Apple moved this to somewhere else in settings?
