Wondering if everyone in the home has their own Apple Account as Apple suggests ?

Eg: Make sure that each family member has a unique Apple Account - Apple Support

says:

"If you share your Apple Account with a family member, certain services will treat you as the same person."

Seems you can only use handoff between devices with handoff turned on, that use the same Apple Account.

Eg: Amongst the requirements the article says:

"Each device is signed in to iCloud with the same Apple Account".

"Each device has Handoff turned on:"

There's a lot more info. in the article above. Seems you can take full control of handoff using the info.

Eg: Turn off handoff on devices you don't want to use handoff with.
