"Block Caller" option is missing in iOS 26.0.1 on my iPhone SE

Jeff, Thanks for your response. I've been using the Apple product since the early 90's, I think my first machine was a Power Macintosh 6100. I've become accustomed to Apple's way of triage and I'm good with it.

The past process of blocking numbers was a very simple process and it would appear that a wait for Apple to deal with this SNAFU may be the only solution to the easy fix. If you refer to my prior post of Oct 10, 2025 11:42 AM in response to da klein I list the long form that can be used to "Block Caller". Allen Jones shows the same process graphically on his Oct 16, 2025 9:50 PM in response to da klein post. The long form is still an option to block unwanted callers. I hope that this helps.

I wish I had some insight here. Since I did the 26.1 update I've forgotten to check if I was still having the same call block issue. I'll do the math next call that I get, I'll be sure to post, sorry.

I'm running iOS 26.1 on my SE 2022. I just assumed Apple would fix this issue with their 26.1 update, as their prior iOS 26 updates didn't do anything to correct the issue (we all know what happens when one ASSUMEs anything). Apple's iOS 26.1 didn't restore the easy "call block" option either. Hello, Earth to Apple, please address this issue sooner rather than later.

LD150, hello. are both iPhones SE models? I've heard other iPhones models have this same issue. As I am a SE 2022 user that has encountered this issue, I just don't understand why Apple finds this issue to be a low priority in their path to a smooth GUI.

Hey Allen, yup, I'm on top of the blocking process as my Oct 10, 2025 11:42 AM in response to da klein post will attest.

On my SE 2022 when I do scroll down there is no option to block calls from the "Calls" page on my iPhone.
