Activation Lock due to forced Apple Account login on iPhone

Scammers deceived me, and forced me to log in to their Apple ID, and blocked my phone, now they are asking for money. Apple support refused to help me, what can I do? I have a receipt, documents, I really want to get my phone back.

If their Apple Account is logged in to your iPhone, that does give them the capability to enable Activation Lock. But if you have the original proof of purchase receipt, you can first erase the iPhone then request Apple remove the Activation Lock after. After that the iPhone should be back at its factory state. But beware if your Apple Account was compromised you shouldn't log back into it.

If the scammers have put the phone into Lost Mode, as seems likely, Apple might refuse to unlock the phone even if you have the original purchase and receipt. Paying blackmailers would be a very bad idea, as you would be rewarding them with no guarantee that they would not blackmail you for more, and/or leave your phone a “brick” anyway.

Asude: When you say “Scammers deceived me, and forced me to log in to their Apple ID”, it sounds more like you were tricked into doing what they wanted, than forced into doing it. Take this as a lesson not to log into anyone else’s Apple Account on your next phone.
