Yubikey 5C NFC F/W 5.7.1 - FIDO2 NFC not supported correctly

Hello,

I have iPhone 12 Pro Max (iOS 18.6.2)

and Yubikey 5C NFC (F/W 5.7.1) known as Security Key C NFC on Windows and Android.

I tried security key FIDO2 auth with PIN and without.

Without PIN it works well but when I need to use NFC > PIN > NFC it doesn't work.

Key supports FIDO2 (USB C and NFC) and FIDO U2F (USB C and NFC) interfaces and all of them enabled.

It doesn't support OTP and PIV (and they are disabled by default).

Is this the same old issue as was mentioned in this Apple community (that supposed to be fixed)?

Should I buy USB C > Lightning adapter to use it as workaround of NFC issue?
