Uconnect not hearing me with iPhone 17 pro

I recently was forced to upgrade my iPhone to 17 max and has been difficult for people to hear me when connected to my vehicle’s Uconnect.

Some Uconnect support people have acknowledged issues on their end. Additionally, some Uconnect support people have acknowledged they are dropping support for some older devices.

In other words Uconnect doesn’t want to (or can’t) support older devices with newer technology. Several friends of mine with older Jeeps just went out and bought new head units and now have no problem connecting their iPhone 17 models.

My iPhone 17 Pro Max will receive calls on the UConnect and I can clearly hear the caller. My problem lies with the "hands free" . When I speak through mine and UConnect , the other caller cannot understand what I'm saying ....garbled,. Yeah, Good luck with contacting UConnect Spent an hour on the phone. Talked with 6 different people as they kept transferring me. They know about the problem but the ones I spoke with said it was an Apple problem as the Uconnect is working with the other iPhones , just not the 17 pro Max.

I'm guess the answer is gonna lie with Apple.......BlueTooth.....version upgrade????
