Blur at top of lock Screen

my iPad keeps blurring the top quarter of my screen behind the date and time. There’s no teardrop shaped icon to unblur it in customization like other people said. The top part of the wallpaper has important information that needs to be seen.

Online tutorials say there is an "Always on display" option in settings that simply does not exist for me.

Blurred lockscreen image at the top Until now, the lockscreen image is still blurry when you set anything on it. It wrecks the images we have and it is infuriating. I was expecting a fix to this since we're already at iOS 18.0.1 but it's still the same. C'mon, please address this.

iPad screen is randomly blurring The screen will randomly completely blur. I’ve seen other posts but images don’t look like mine. I’m attaching before and after pics to see if anyone knows the cause and solution. There is no Apple Store within 5 hours of me so I’m hoping for something I can do.
