iPhone not making sound alerts despite not being on Silent mode

Doesn’t make a sound as if it’s stuck on silent.

When the phone is on mute, critical alerts do not send a sound notification Hi, Iphone on 17.6.1 (the same issue was present with 17.5.1, can't recall when it stopped working). When I receive a critical alert (i.e. fire nearby) and the phone is on mute, it does not play a sound, although that's what's supposed to do. Everything alert-wise, is toggled on. Any thoughts? iPhone 16 notifications are silent when locked When my iphone 16 is locked, i do not get any sound on message and notifications. As soon as i unlock, the sounds appears again. Neither the vibration is working with the phone locked. I have checked all settings like do not disturb, silence etc. Tried the volume up and down, restarted etc. ios 26.1
