I use Windows 11 Pro and my iPhone 14 has always worked with the drag and drop feature UNTIL 26.1 recent update. Everything's on and I've dinner nothing different.

In this case, I think it is the recent update. It's not just me. My question is not inaccurate. There are MANY others complaining about this particular feature not working. Your Microsoft support link doesn't work either. My Windows 11 Pro is updated and the examples you've provided were not applicable and are blurred.
When I plug my 14 iphone in, I can then open the pictures up under the Programs option in windows 11 Pro, but the moment you try drag and drop them into disignated files, only a few will go before it freezes and stays frozen. This never happened before last update of iOS 26.1. My HP windows 11 is fairly new and I pay extra for the defense of bugs and Trojans. The camera on the phone went to a bunch of crazy settings as well, settings I did NOT do or authorize... to which I had to look up and put back to normal too. The phone doesn't act like it has bugs either. It only happened at update.
Could you please specify the origin and destination of the items being dragged and dropped?
