Keyboard turns white and non functioning

phone Keyboard keeps changing to white making it impossible to enter replies to automated requests in the middle of calls

keyboard fails Sometimes during a phone call the keyboard numbers are not recognized. This is especualliy bad when trying to call Apple about this. I cannot dial "1" as required so I cannot get thru to their help.

Try this:

Go to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size.
Turn on Reduce Transparency.
Turn on Increase Contrast.
