Firefox - when I log out after logging in with password, my past firefox login history is still displayed - I would like to log out and go back to blank page - using Ventura

No. After you log out you will be left on whatever page the bank left you with. It is typically a page that says you logged out. That's the way web page & browsers work. Just close the tab and then open a new one.

Go to Firefox > Settings > Privacy & Security. Scroll down to the History section and check "Clear history when firefox closes." Then click the Settings button next to it and make sure all the options are checked. Then click Save Changes. Screenshot below:

See this Firefox/Mozilla article regarding the Home Page button. If that button is visible in Firefox, then you can just click that button to be taken to the Home Page again.

Select the "Use custom settings for history" option. That will open up the additional settings.
What version of Firefox are you using? 147.0.1 is the current version. Runs fine on everything from Catalina to Tahoe.

That's the point. It's a security measure to protect you from your login credentials being left behind in your browser cache, which could potentially be accessed by malware.
