QuickTime Player: Right arrow not fast forwarding; shortcuts

Macbook Quicktime Player 

What are 

Question 1) Forward 

Question 2) Fast Forward 

Keyboard Shortcuts

when I click the right arrow button time does not change It moves only maybe miliseconds etc.?

Question 3) When I click right arrow the playback menu disappears. How can I prevent this?

I'm looking at time while I'm forwarding etc.

QuickTime Player app not opening I've been trying to open the QuickTime Player App in my application folder on my MacBook Air M2 2022. I can click on it and it shows up in my Dock but nothing is happening, it does not open. Not sure this happened after updating to Sonoma or what. Is the QuickTime Player App discontinued and can I delete it off my MacBook Air as it is useless now or am I doing something wrong? Any other App suggestions similar to QuickTime Player? Thanks

Rewind and fast Forwards keys on Macbook Pro M1 Pro 14" inch i have the 14 inch macbook pro, i just switched from using windows because of some reasons. Everything works great except the rewind and fast forward features key doesn't work. I tried it on youtube videos but it doesn't work, only the pause and play key works tho. Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

How can I optimise MacBook Pro M1 to reduce application lag When I move applications around on my desktop, there is a terrible lag; the same happens when I scroll and when I try to slide through applications on the bottom of my screen. It's killing me. A reboot fixes it for a short time. I'm running 15.3.1 Sequoia. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
