Automatic increase of brightness when user returns back to screen

IPhone currently has a feature that keeps the display from dimming when the user is actively looking at the screen, and dims it automatically when the user looks away. However, there is no option to automatically increase brightness when the user returns to the screen. Is it possible to add this feature or is there a setting for it ?
