MacBook Air trackpad has no haptic feedback

My 2020 M1 Macbook Air running macOS Sequoia 15.6.1 has stopped all haptic feedback on the trackpad. The trackpad still works as normal, it just doesn't click at all. I checked all of the settings and nothing seems to be working. Let me know if theres anything I can do to fix this

Restart your Mac in safe mode and see if the problem persists.  Safe mode will often correct weird software behavior by forcing the OS to clear caches, do disk repair and other self-maintenance and housekeeping and temporarily disables third-party mods.

Does the problem go away in Safe mode?

If so, this may indicate an OS software conflict with your apps.

You can exit safe mode by restarting your Mac normally, then reevaluate the problem.
