Stopping spam texts on iPhone 12 Pro

I have iPhone 12 Pro. Is there a way to stop all the spam texts coming in on my phone?

Text messages are a carrier feature.

Your cellular provider should have some kind of spam filtering in place.

Unfortunately spammers/scammers can send out millions of text messages for very little cost to computer generated lists of phone numbers. They are profitable if they get as little as 1% to respond.

All you can do is delete the spam and report it.

Blocking the number is useless as the spammers will just use a different number.

Blocking Message Senders:

A. Using the App Called Bouncer:

For text messages, there is an app called Bouncer, which block messages out by keywords. But, if these are not text messages, then is would not be an option. Here is the link: Bouncer: Text Messages Blocker 4+ - App Store

B. Use Malwarebytes Mobile Security:

The free version blocks popups. The paid version blocks out known spam numbers, lets you add number to the block list, and allows you to report these numbers to the Developer. So, consider using it. Read the following post to see how to use this software: Blocked numbers - Apple Community. Get it Right in the App Store: Malwarebytes - Mobile Security - App Store

C. Force Restart your iPhone:

To safely get out of this, Force Restart your iPhone. Go here: Force Restart iPhone - Apple Support

D.  Reporting this to Apple and Others:

So, report this messages info to Apple, and your federal governments, if an applicable. Provide the screenshot and the URL of this thread. Use my User: Using the Photos App to Report Scams - User Tip
