My iphone 16 have the same problem, usually when I open a specific app it will do that, but it get fixed when I updated to the newest ios 🍎

During the call im also facing the same thing but here is the catch if when you are on the call dont immediately put it on ears. Wait for minimum 2 to 3 seconds then it wont flicker. But i dont knw the exact reason why it happens like this. What do you think can be the reason?

I have an iPhone 17 Pro Max running iOS 26.5.2, and I’m having a weird screen flashing/flickering issue during calls. It doesn’t happen all the time, which makes it really hard to test or show consistently.

Sometimes when answering or receiving a call, the screen briefly flashes/flickers for a split second, even without putting the phone near my ear.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Do you think this sounds more like a hardware issue or an iOS/software bug?
