accent mark shortcut not working
i can no longer access accented letters via long-press letters on MacBook or option key on external keyboard on ipad. Keyboard is set to us-international. how to fix?

On the special us international pc layout, you should be able to make accents by pressing the keys marked ~ ^ ‘ “ and backtick, followed by the base letter.
Most users prefer US or ABC to keep the normal use of ‘ “ ~ and make accents via press/hold or option.
