Understanding different pricing levels for in-app purchases

Could someone explain the different levels on the in-app purchases on apps. For example below has unlimited access $6.99 and the next line as unlimited access for $7.99. And lower down Premium access (1 week) is listed two times and again as $7.99. So what is the difference is each one. Thanks to anyone who can explain…Sheri

What you see in the App Store is every pricing option that has been submitted for use. In the app is when you will have an option to use one and the Developer decides which one to offer you and the benefits. At times an app may offer a discount to their regular price or have a special on a certain day and in order to do that, the developer must have previously submitted the price in the App Store, which is why you see so many.

The label you see is nothing more than what you would see in your Purchase History if you agreed to the in-app purchase. It is in the app where they would offer you the in-app purchase, the price, and the benefits if you choose to accept.

The Developer of an app writes the description you see in the App Store. If they don't make a convincing case for you to easily determine what features are free and what you will gain from a specific in-app purchase, then it is a failure on their part and you should move on to one that states their case clearly.

I also recommend reading the reviews for making a determination before download. If you download an app and the in-app purchases are not clear or you feel they are unfair, then write a review on the app to let others know your experience.

Most every app that offers in-app purchases are free to download, so there is no risk of losing any money, because that would require you to double click the side button with the amount showing on the screen, followed by authentication with FaceID/TouchID or Passcode.

To me time is being wasted. I would rather know exactly what the pricing is before I download the app then if deciding do not want have to remove it. If they put the pricing up front in the description on the app store, I would be more apt to decide right then if I want to get or not.

It's like going to the store to purchase something and the price on the display is partial but to find out what the actual full price is having to go the register to check out to get it. Time wasted and these days time is money.

I hope one day the app store will show what each pricing represents instead of taking time to download the app, read thru all the informaiton then decide you don't want and have to remove the app. And if my payment information is there, follow up to make sure I don't get billed for removing the app.
