Laptop froze
My laptop froze , this never happened before . How do I fix this, please help

When your Mac is completely unresponsive, you can press and hold the power/Touch-ID button. Typically it will do an uncontrolled emergency power-down within about ten seconds.
When you power up again later, if it does not complete booting up, the same process is used (on an Apple-silicon Mac) but you continue to hold the power button even longer, until the Recovery screen appears. From Recovery, you can reach Disk Utility and FirstAid/RepairDisk, which fixes many issues.
