Crackling Noise During Music Playback after iOS 4.1 Update

Hey guys. Play music through my iPhone via USB in my Prius. Music has always been fine, but when i updated to 4.1, then started to play music in my car, i noticed a crackling noise during music playback. I thought maybe the speakers were blown, but there is no such sound when i play music CDs or pandora or anything other than the Mp3s. Is anyone having music playback issues after the 4.1 update???

I also am experiencing the issues on my Pioneer Elite SC-25 AV receiver using the Pioneer factory USB cable and the Apple supplied iPhone 4 cable most of the time it sounds like a vinyl record it crackles, skips and sometimes no sound at all the only way to get the sound back for me is to turn off the iPhone 4 and turn back on but the crackle still remains. I also have the same issues on my Kenwood KDC-X993 car deck when it's hardwired USB I also experience muffled distorted audio in addition to the rest on the Kenwood and the Bluetooth audio on the Kenwood skips and hesitates from the iPhone 4 and I am on the current iPhone 4.1 this is a serious issue I kind of thought playing music from it was the point? I guess not? using it as a phone with ATT is marginal at best so take away the iPod now whats left the web? I love Apple to death but they need to stop changing things that worked! If it works stop messing with it what's next new headphone jack that does not work with normal headphones? Please just fix the issue!!!

My problem matches everyone else's, but with a little bit added. First, I should specify that this is ONLY when running through the multipin adapter through a USB plug. Headhphone jack does not do this. After a few hits of crackling sound as described by others, the audio signal cuts out entirely. I noticed two things though: First, although the audio signal doesn't play, the audio on the unit is still playing... that is, progressing through the track/podcast you were listening to. Second, if I toggle through the audio sources on my head unit (Pioneer DEH 7000 BT in a Toyota Corolla) and return to the USB source the signal is back. It will then stay for another 10 minutes or so, then repeat. It seems to repeat cutting out and going through that cycle in decreasing amounts of time until it gets to about 3 minutes... that is, playing for 3 minutes or so, then cutting out completely until I toggle through sources. This all started the day after the 4.1 update.

Apple, you're really trying my love for your products!

Didn't work for me either..
Got the shake for shuffle option turned off all time I got iPhone...

But all and all, Apple HAS to come with a solution...
It's been like a month at least now, and they still haven't got ANY solution at all.. :S
It's really embarrassing for a multi-billion company to just not fix it..

Apple people, we pay for this **** !!!
It's about time U came around with a solution !!!

Seems like we are all having a different degree of interference, which is weird. Some people are losing sound all together, where as I get more of a background interference over my music.

This type of random problem is YET ANOTHER REASON WHY APPLE NEEDS TO ALLOW OS DOWNGRADING.

I would have been fine at 4.0 and really dont care about the new features that 4.1 added all that much, and certainly not in trade of my music library. But after being pestered by the update popups I finally figured 'why not?' and am now stuck with a software that is useless for one of primary functions I use it for.

Is anyone at Apple listening? or are have they gotten so big that they no longer have to care?
