@granthuhn. What you do with iExplorer is drag the memo you want out of the recordings folder and into your downloads or desktop folder, then drag it from there into iTunes. Should play normally.

What happens if you create a playlist with voice memos in it that is not called voice memos, and has other mp3s? Are you converting the the VMs to mp3s?
FretBuzzin, this worked almost perfectly. As goo97 said, I had to disconnect and reconnect the phone and then everything sync'd just fine.
20th century and you would think plug and play devices would be more user friendly. 🙂 lol
Wow - thank you so much Sophia, that worked perfectly! Well done you!
Yes, this worked
Trimming just a second worked for me too.🙂
Problem solved until Apple actually fixes this bug ⚠
This also worked for me. I have tried everything on this discussion but trimming it just a second or two did the trick!
Hay Skakagrall,
When you say "scroll down" All I can see are all the different apps no "FILE SHARING"
is that something I need to download in order to see the files I recorded?????
Oh what, you can blank my bad words out but you can't look at what I wrote, **** you apple!
Thanks for the tip NathaninNC. This was exactly the tip I needed. I'd recorded 10 conference sessions but only 4 came across when I synced my iPod Touch. Using your technique found all me recordings.
Please do as Mattkinnj said and use apple feedback to write to them people. If we write to them in numbers maybe they'll do something instead of just lay back and enjoy Steve Jobs's hard made money.
Any insights about iOS 6 resolving this issue?
The software team may have maps front and center for immedite fix. But this audio file glitch has been around a long time.
Thank you so much, @FretBuzzin !!
