Can I recommend that you turn of any overscanning features on you TVs as this is another process that detracts from the picture quality. Mike
Lowering the TV menus' "Sharpness" setting to zero helped for me, on a Sharp LCD26SH1U TV screen. Works best at 720p with no Overscan.
I have the same issue with Late Mac Mini 2012, , using Thunderbolt - Samsung HDMI, and HDMI-HDMI, Hope an update fix this, I don't know what is it, maybe a problem with Intel HD4000
finally, the Thunderbolt/MiniDP-VGA works, but it's not HD quality vision, just for you guys to reference. And I'm also waiting for Apple's fix for HDMI connection problem.
I have tried MDP-DVI,then DVI-HDMI, but it's the same vision as HDMI-HDMI. Have no idea now.
Yep, the same worked for me on a Samsung 32". HDMI port 4 was showing horrible text, while moving to HDMI/DVI port 1 and bringing down sharpness to 0 resolved it.
Thanks for the help. The reduction of "sharpness" to zero helped and the "calibrate" routine polished it off nicely. I am using a Samsung 2333HD with HDMI to HDMI.
Quick update, i got my Mini Display/VGA adapter and it looks just fine now on my Dynex tv through VGA input. Still waiting/wanting to use HDMI though!
Crossing my fingers for an update.
I'm still waiting for a solution before buying another mac mini. Also, it seems there are also some problems with Bluetooth interferences created by USB 3.0 devices... Oh my...
Wow, this was the most unintuitive fix I've ever seen. But it worked (changing input source name to PC on a P2570HD).
Thanks, this has been bugging me for a LONG time (was using various workarounds).
How do I stop receiving psts from this discussion!
