This is the same solution as previously posted. You're right, though, it does solve the problem (on Samsung TVs, anyway).
Why are you using 1360x768 on a 1920x1080 display? 🙂
After all, the problem people in this thread are having is that the correct resolution for the external monitor is unavailable in OS X.
I've got this fuzzy text issue on a HP monitor. I'm fairly certain it worked earlier in the year.
I've tried different hdmi cables and different minidisplay to hdmi adapters.
Very frustrating.
Glad it helped.
I have the same setup as you, and I think with the Panasonic you can turn me overscan off, and leave the overscan off on the Mac mini. It definitely helped me
I found a solution:
On your Samsung TV:
Go to Picture/Screen adjustment/Picture Size and choose "Screen fit.
After this I have the full crisp HD resolution.
I found that reducing the contrast setting on the TV,and slightly increasing the brightness setting, improved the text image somewhat on a Panasonic lcd tv connected by hdmi.
OMG i cant believe that this actually worked from me. Used HDMI input 2 and the result is perfect. HDMI input 1 for some reason was really bad
Wow! It worked for me. Thanks so much!!!!
Thanks I adjusted Sharpness on my Blaupunkt HDTV and that really improved the display. Great tip.
