iPod Touch won't turn on !!

Oi, Guys....

Just plug your ipod in the PC then after 5 mins in the PC press and hold the sleep & home botton untill the apple sign comes up,,

I just got a white apple ipod touch 8 days ago and the same thing happened to me! I was on facebook and it just shuts off. tried holding down the on button and charging it nothing happenes!!!!!!

If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

This may sound stupid but it worked for me when it happened to me.....simply just KEEP pressing the Home and Power button and hold them for 10 seconds......REPEAT THIS PROCESS UNTIL IT WORKS......IT WILL WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hold both power and home buttons in, keep them held in till the apple logo shows if after 5mins and the apple logo has not showen, plug the ipod in to a mains out let to charge leave it for 30-mins to 1hr,

and repeat the power and home buttons, again if nothing after 5mins,

try putting the ipod in dfu mode

hold the power for 3secs then hold in the home when u c a blue screen let go of power and keep home held in to u c the itunes and usb screen plug ipod in to computer and restore to a back up or factory settings

Okay I have the 1 gen. and my ipod won't attempt to turn on unless it's in the charger. And even when it is it just shows the apple symbol for about 30 secs. and then goes off. I've tried to restart and when it shows to put it into the comp. so it will hook up to itunes and doesn't show that it's in the computer.

My girlfriend gave me her 1g iPod touch, and I'm dumbfounded by the thing. It won't turn on at all. I had it charging for about a week and it gave me, literally an hour of use, then i hit the power button and it won't turn back on. It is so very frustrating. Can anyone help me or give me some sort of a solution?

Still having this trouble over here. I've tried that holding home button and lock but it didn't worked 😟 before that, my itunes can still detect my ipod while my ipod won't turn on. And when I tried holding for 10 sec, it's nothing and my itunes can't detect my ipod anymore. Can anyone help me?

Help! My iPod 4g won't turn on, it was a working a couple of a minutes ago and when I went back on it to check something nothing showed up. I tried holding the home and on/off button down for a few seconds.minutes at the same time and still NOTHING! I even tried plugging it into my computer but it's not being recognized. I restared by computer and did it again but still nothing. I've only had this iPod for 4 months!! Can anyone help me please? 😟

I think I was the only one that have this problem. Same as you, my itunes didn't recognized my ipod. I've tried holding 2 buttons and it was nothing. I've checked it to the Apple store in here and they said that my ipod display was broken or something and have to repair it. Is it was really like that? Can anyone help?
