I have an 8 GB iPod Touch and it does not turn on, it was working and it just went off and won't turn on. I tried to connect it to iTunes but it is still the same.
Does anyone know what's wrong and how do you fix it ?
I cant believe this i had the same problem 3 months after getting it.. but mine's screen went white when i pressed the on button. I tried everything.. then it was fine the next day! anyone else had this problem?
This appears to be a problem with everyone at this point. I have a suspicion it might be the new update that came out. I just updated it less than a week ago and that's when it acted up. A new update will come out soon I hope.
Just pluged in to itunes to update with the new downloads for Ipod touch.
massage error while downloading which has stopped my ipod from working. My computer usb shows error 43.
can anyone help
I went to the apple support site and was directed to connect directly to my computer usb power for 10 mins or more then press both the reset and home buttons together for 10 seconds or more. It worked but I'd still like to know why it happened in the first place? And why a new ipod touch $$$ purchased directly from apple doesn't qualify for direct support. Next time I'll buy a disposable samsung.
WOOW the same thing happened to my ipod 4th gen. i pressed the home button and lock at the same time for about 30 seconds and it turned on but it made me restore it and i lost everything that was on it but luckily i had all my apps and songs on itunes
i have the same problem, happened two days ago tried charging and connecting to itunes, nothing has worked. does anyone have a solution or a reply from apple? tried solution, i think it may have worked.
I need help & I don't know where to post this. My ipod ran out of battery yesterday so I plugged it into my pc & it asked me if I wanted the new software, and I accidently clicked yes (I've been trying to avoid it because when my sisters did it it took allll their content off). So then after downloading it, i got a message saying that I needed to restore it to the factory settings. I was like alright, and clicked yes. It went through the whole thing and then i got a message saying "your ipod will start up in 10 seconds" so I waited & it started up again but then it said I needed to restore it to the factory settings AGAIN. And then the cycle keeps repeating its self & my ipod is now useless. Any help?
I have the 3rd generating ipod touch & on friday I will have had it for a year.
