touch screen over-sensitive and going crazy! sos

i bought an iphone 3GS about a month ago, and for the last 2 weeks i'm having a real problem - everytime i'm trying to touch the screen, _the phone "feels" my hand from a distance, even before i'm touching it!_ i can't write SMS, notes or to phone people and read e-mails. everytime i'm trying to touch the screen, it decides for me on what i want press - trying to press on the letter "G" on the keyboard and it presses on "HHYFF", trying to open "calendar" and it opens "pictures", trying to read an e-mail and it erases it. it's seems like i have a really really over-sensitive screen, and i have no idea what to do..
please help me

Yes! I have been having the same problems with my ne iPhone 5s, where the screen goes wild when i type or touch it. I thought it was cleaning it (this used to work i thought on my 4), but removing the power cord solved it.

By the way, I have a Spigen Glas.t screenprotector. I thought that was it, but now i am sure it is the charger.

THANKS!

Cosmo

Yes the iPhone plugged into charger was causing my 5C to do the same thing. Jumpy screen, keyboard while typing all disappears, and random things happen like I pressed something across the screen. Also I had an aftermarket wall charger plug that is now in the garbage.

I had the same issue with my iPhone 4S. When I kept my finger on the touch screen to scroll, the content was jumping up and down. Sometimes I could hold my finger 3mm above the screen and it activated wildly buttons. In short the touch function has gone crazy. The Apple support could not help.

I suspected that it comes from an over sensitivity.

I put then a screen protection film on (which reduces the sensitivity) and the problem disappeared.

I'm having the same issue with my 5S. It has worked flawlessly since I bought it back when it was released. Suddenly two days ago it started behaving the way you described. The only difference is that I am using an Apple adapter. My phone even started an app when it was sitting on the desk by itself. (I had set it down maybe 10 seconds before it did this.). This doesn't happen every time it's plugged in, but I will pay close attention now. I may have a bad charger or lighting connector. And for the record I don't have a screen protector. If it does this only when charging, I'll look into buying new charging gear. Thanks for the insight.
