ITUNES APP STORE WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD WITH EXISTING APPLE ID

Hey,

I've been trying to create a free itunes app store account. First I read the instructions in this link : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534, but the link shows how to create a new account, the problem is that I already have a Apple ID.

On the other hand when I try to sign in in the app store with my existing Apple ID, I get the message "This Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes Store please review your account information" with two options "cancel" and "review".

Clicking in review, I go to the page with the terms of service, continuing I go to a page where I have to type my email, my password, question and answer for the password and my birth date. The email field has the email that is being used with my current Apple ID, and the password field has the password of my existing Apple ID. The other fields are blank. Completing them, and clicking in next I go to the payment options page, but there's no "none" option, so I can't make a account withou using a credit card.

Is there a way to create a itunes app store without a credit card with my existing apple ID, or a I have to create a new one ?

  1. I got this to work after spending an hour hating Apple once again.
  2. 1. Open iTunes
  3. 2. Click on iTunes Store
  4. 3. Scroll ALL the way down to the bottom of the page
  5. 4. Under "Manage" click "Redeem"
  6. 5. Enter your existing-but-stuck User ID and Password in the popup and click OK
  7. 6. This takes you to the page that asks for your CC info.
  8. 7. Select NONE as payment option
  9. 8. Fill out Title, Address and Phone Number
  10. 9. Click Continue
  11. 9. You're done! Enjoy your existing not-stuck account.

No it doesn't. It asks you for an iTunes gift card code.
