No offense, but just because you feel like you can get royalty treatment because of a defective product, doesn't mean you'll get it!
Honestly, if you think you can just get a brand new iPhone, read the fine print and the Applecare Limited 1 year warranty. It's not a Product Replacement Plan. They didn't hire lawyers for nothing you know. Apple is covering their *** so people like you can't get a brand new one after 30 days.
If it's within 30 days of you buying the phone, yes I could see you getting a new phone. But if it's older than that, it'll be repaired or replaced with a refurbished model. The only way you could get a new one is something called a lemon law (which is something like taking in your product up to 4 times for repairs on different incidents), and even then I don't think they have one.
Refurbished phones are just as good as new ones. Put up with it, or stay with your defective iPhone. Refurbished is better than getting nothing at all.
I just sent in my 6 month old iPhone to apple, because of a screen defect. Now watch me demand a brand new iPhone instead of a refurbished model. Apple will laugh at me. Why? It's a 6 month old phone, **** happens to technology ALL THE TIME. It's not going to be perfect. You are always going to get one or two rotten apples out of a good batch, so why complain when they offer to FIX the problem? That's their job, and they have to follow company policy. No matter how much you ***** and compalin, it's not going to change. It's not like the Apple executives are going to be watching this thread and make changes because of one person.
Turn your listening ears on, because it's taking everyone a couple dozen posts to make it clear to you that what you want is unrealistic, and I agree with them 100%.
