After iphone 4 4.3.3 update wifi not working

My iphone 4 been running on 4.3.1 smoothly until I upgraded my software to 4.3.3 this week.

I cannot connect to my wifi(apple timecapsule) all my other devices still running 4.3.1 can connect.

Reading the forums, I did the following.

1. Reset all network settings-did not work

2. Hard reset-did not work

3. Restore and setup new phone without restoring backup to 4.3.3-did not work

4. Trying to downgrade to 4.3.1 did not work as itunes ays that its not eligalbe for this build after going into DFU mode.

The bad for me is I never jailbreak any device and still going a legit route i now only have a 3G working.

Is this a confirmed bug?

If anyone has the same issue but solved let me know.

I have the same problem, I upgraded my iPhone 4 to 4.3.3 and now my wifi isn't working. I tried resetting network settings and that didn't work either. I upgraded my iPad 2 to 4.3.3 and the wifi works fine.

Same problem for me...

'Upgraded' to 4.3.3, now my WiFi is incredibly weak, and my GPS has stopped. Massive pain in the backside, as I need to use the GPS for work at the moment.

I'm confident Apple will fix this, but it'd be nice to get more info than is on the hacker forums. My iphone isn't jailbroken (just unlocked from O2 by them).

Hi everyone

also had problems connecting wifi with iphone ios 4.3.3 i tried all the suggested things = forget network, hard restart etc finally did what someone suggested ( i think on this forum) did a reset of router - sorry not technical at all - on our router there is a small hole - pressed it with a pin - router reset (ok had to redo all settings on home pc - with help from our service provider) and what joy - iphone connected and is still connected hours later, So try this.

I have these same problems with wifi connecting after 4.3.3. Called apple and they replaced my phone said that it was a hardware issue with the wifi anntena, Paid $70 for the apple care and they shipped no charge. Got the new phone and updated with back up. I continue to have the same problem, low or no connection at home with great connection at work. Please Apple fix this issue its obviously not a hardware issue.

Ditto with everyone else. I updated my iphone 4 to 4.3.3. Right afterwards the iphone would search for a wifi signal and never find any. So I did a hard reset, then reset the network settings. Now the wifi is greyed out. I agree with a previous poster in that it (logically) can NOT be a hardware issue.

Someone at Apple is just afraid to admit their mistake or doesnt want to accept blame for this.

I am upset that my podcasts were downloading from the 3G network and so will cost me more money on my data plan.

I also have three Ipad 2's at home and I upgraded at least 2 of them, but they are only wifi versions and I havent had any issues on them yet. So this may just be an issue with devices with both wifi and 3G.

Hope this at least helps Apple to discover the issue. Every time I call all I get is the support staff trying to get me to buy a care plan. Logic would dictate that if there needs to be an update to the software, then free support should be given for maybe 30 days after the release.
