Adobe DON"T MAKE a version of Flash for IOS, is that really so hard to understand?
This from Apple's own blog "Thoughts on Flash";
I wanted to jot down some of our thoughts on Adobe’s Flash products so that customers and critics may better understand why we do not allow Flash on iPhones, iPods and iPads.
I understand there's no Flash for iOS but it's not because Adobe won't make it, Apple won't let them.
Apple is not preventing Adobe from making Flash for iOS.
If Adobe could have made a version, they would have showed it to the world if simply to show up Apple.
But the fact is that Adobe tried to make a version and could not do it so they gave up trying.
With this Flash-Ipad issue, the only solution is to give those Ipad to charity, and buy an Android based tablet. Personally I bought a Samsung, and can't be any happier.
Oh, btw we have to spread the word that Ipads are nothing more that expensive toys; not suited for interacting with other users (other than apple freaks), internet 2011 and beyond.
Those Mac-Pc advertisements... really made me laugh.

Really hit home, didn't they?
So that means we won't be seeing you in these forums anymore, right?

I guess I'm having hallucinations, then, when I use my iPad in my work and see a couple of dozen or so of my colleagues doing the same.
Seriously, you are of course free to choose whatever device best suits your needs. No one product fits everyone. But don't come here and troll by making such patently ridiculous statements.

We're glad that you're happy.
Holy crap! No excuse for Apple not to accommodate support for flash on ipad2. Time for Steve to go. The Customer is always right. Let's get real.
For the 1,00000000 time. It was adobe who couldn't deliver. I have no need for flash anyway
I guess you don't read much do you. Steve is going. And he has done such a bad job at Apple, they have no cash (just $75 billion or so), they sell iPads as fast as they can make them, they are the number 2 valued company behind Exxon/Mobile? Yes, I'm sure the stockholders at Apple are just furious with him.
Get real? Look in a mirror.
Bull Crap, if they wanted it they could have it. Yes Apple is making a furtune because people like me wanted an "ipad" but if I could do it over I would buy a different pad. Apple is losing market share and will continue to do so as time goes on in this market. I would bet on it.
Yes they could, but they don't, it has all been discussed to death and there is no rush of people returning them because of Flash and those companies that are selling competing tablets aren't making much of a dent even advertising their Flash capabilities. HP had to take a loss to sell all of theirs, RIM is already retreating. And of course Apple is losing market share, they were the first to market with this type of device and they never expected to maintain a 100% share of the market. But they still dominate the market and have sold more tablets than all other companies combined. Do a search and read the other long threads on this.
Actually it isn't. If you actually bothered to do some research you would know that Adobe was asked to deliver a compliant player and they couldn't do it.
Show some evidence that support your claims of them losing market share. Nothing has come close. Usability is key and they have that down. Most things can be found in apps or compatible websites. Never come across any issues, and many many others can agree. You know flash isn't supported going in, so don't purchase it and then whine about it. Purchase something that fits your needs.
Apple is losing Market Share? Really?? Have you been to an Apple Store at any hour of any day they are open? You can barely get in their doors. Maybe you could go get an HP Touchpad. They did so poorly, they had to give them away for $99 because no one wanted one. In the world of tablets, I sincerely doubt Apple will be dethroned anytime soon. They can't make them fast enough. It might not be the right tablet for you, but to say they are losing market share is laughable.......
Hard Core apple users remind me of far right wing or left wing political people they just can not believe they could be wrong. Do not get me wrong I am just as bad and like apple products, I have an Ipad and I have an Iphone as does my wife and I love them all but the lack of flash player has really pushed me away from apple products as a whole. The simplest things like participating in a fantasy football draft I keep finding myself having to put down the Ipad and go get out the PC. My wife had always wanted an over priced mac book and I am glad we learned our leason with the I pad because we will never get one now.
