That is why it's useful to research. Adobe has ceased production of flash on all mobile devices
There are browsers like skyfire that are said to work on some sites
It's not an issue for the majority of people and it has been put to rest by adobe for mobile
Trust me I have tried them all, they either each the crud out of my data or require me to be on wifi, and even then they all run extremely poorly, or just dont work on most the content, its a sad replacemnt that I have spent well over $100 on.
Windows 8 mobile devices are supporting flash, and that will be my next mobile device purchase. So It's looking like Adobe hasn't given up on all mobile.
I'm just really upset by this today because I tried to see my daughters graduation videos on her blog and I can't because of this crud.
Was the final nail in the coffin, besides my son telling me everyday "I told you so"
Good to know, I've never used any as I have no need for flash.
Adobe has closed down their mobile flash division. Will have to see how windows implements the tools on the tablet. It's really the only product that seems like it would be a good alternative at this point
Time will tell and I know this will eventually change but just a matter of how long would take for this issue to resolve. I think at the moment the best bet will still be android tablets. I just hope Apple would do something about this, cos I just love the response of the pad and the simplicity.
There is nothing for Apple to do as Adobe wasn't able to provide something for IOS and have since shut down the division. This would apply to Android as well as they won't be seeing further support.

Apple cannot block what does never existed (Flash for iOS).

That is Microsoft's decision, not Adobe's. It will not use the Adobe plugin. Microsoft is building the capability into the browser. Rumor has it that the implementation is a little iffy in its current stage.
You are not trying to tell me that Microsloth would do such a thing as to sell vaporware now would you? What is this world coming to? 😮
Not the first time I have heard that from them.

Someone does not pay attention to tech news.

Mobile flash is dead and gone.
It is not being supported for any mobile device, including Android.
It was not ever nor will it ever be on any iOS device.
End of story.
No technology is perfect. But I've found great ways to revolve my life NOT around Flash. There is no problem in accessing YouTube via the app or safari on iPad. If the blog video uses Vimeo a high quality video service or YouTube there shouldn't be any problem as well.
About the bring back the flash cries, I couldn't be bothered about it anymore, flash no longer has any relevance in my life.
Those flash sites I visited; many are either abandoned or the graphics just seem terrible for games. I'd rather have the convenience of playing the games on the app store as well.
