Better hurry up with those Flash-supporting tablets.

Echoing Apple, Microsoft bans Flash from Metro IE10 in Windows 8
Windows 8's Metro UI browser won't support Adobe Flash
Google "thoughts on flash" by Steve Jobs and you will understand why Apple does not allow flash on their mobile devices. I also wondered why I couldn't access some site!s videos and his answer's made a lot of sense.
His response from almost 4 years ago makes sense, a lot has changed in that amount of time. I like my Ipad 2 and my I phone ect... But the bottom line is I would LOVE it if it had this one feature. The hard core fans will come on here and say well sell it then go get you one of the other Tablets. The bottoms line as we are the consumer judging by the 100K plus views that it is string has gotten the consumers want it and to say that can not do it is just BS.

Even assuming there have been 100K unique individual iPad owners viewing this thread, that only accounts for about one third of one percent of all iPad's sold to date, so I hardly think this thread qualifies as evidence of anything near a majority of disquieted owners clammering for flash.

That is an easy line to blurt out, now how about some evidense that it is the truth. What has changed in regard to Flash?
1. Adobe has never developed a version that would work on iOS.
2. Adobe has been unsuccessful in developing good, trustworthy versions for other mobile platforms.
3. Adobe has abandoned mobile Flash development and laid off mobile Flash staff.
1/3? So only 300,000 iPads have been sold?
Are you using a different calendar than the rest of us? "Thoughts on Flash" was written in April 2010, which is not "almost 4 years ago", in fact it isn't even 2 years old as of this date.

My bad, but I was correct on the calendar post!
🙂 Actually, my math likely is not even adequately approximate anymore. The 30 million iPad sales figure I remember was from last June or July, so many more than that sold by now. Some analysts are saying Apple is on track to sell 50 million iPads in 2012 alone - which could bring the total sold by the end of this year to something like 75-100 million. So when I said less than one third of one percent I probably should have said far less than....
Apple *****! Worse company ever. About as cool as Starbucks 10 years ago. Those who know what I mean know what I mean.

I don't care about cool. But then, I'm not a teenager.
So, does it means that there is no solution for those website I,m going to view. If I knew that, I wouldn't have gotten myself an IPad for the time being until this is solved or the so called HTML5 has been widely implemented. I think IPad is a really great and cool product to have for work and leisure but I think most of us don't really know about the flash issue when we are getting one for our own self. I guess most of us had to lived with it at the moment. But definitely I will advise my relatives and friends to get android devices for the time being.
If you guys have across any solutions, please do keep us inform.
Thanks in advance and have a nice day for you guys.
I was one of those who knew Apple was blocking Adobe Flash, but bought into the whole "flash is dead, html5 is king".
After almost 3 years I'm starting to believe this was just hype to get me to buy this, or to not care about the issue thinking anytime things will change.
Obviously this was a pipe dream, and now I hear windows is baking Flash into their OS, and reading that youtube is not moving away from flash I am starting to relize I was hustled on this issue.
Very frustrating to think all this time I could have been using something that actually works, and once the day comes when flash is dead (if that ever actually happens) I could have picked up an iPad then, instead this thing will have long been in a drawer before that happens.
I would have never thought in a million years Apple would be on iPad 3 and this would still be an issue, the way they made it sound originally, that I wouldn't be having this issue more than a few months after buying my ipAd, to think it's been almsot three years is just sad.
It's gotten so bad for me that I don't even take my iPad out in public or during get togethers, because all I here copnstantly is how dumb I am for buying into Apple, it's like the whole world knows iPad dont support flash, and I here about by almost every person that sees this thing, I'm so tired of it, and tired of being made fun of, I thought people would think my iPad is cool, but in the past few months, it's doing the opposite, all I get now are laughs or I told you so's.
