Bull Crap, if they wanted it they could have it. Yes Apple is making a furtune because people like me wanted an "ipad" but if I could do it over I would buy a different pad. Apple is losing market share and will continue to do so as time goes on in this market. I would bet on it.
Your iPad is very desirable, sell it, you'll get a good price and can buy some other pad, HP make one that has Flash, on sale if you're fast.

Hard Core apple users remind me of far right wing or left wing political people they just can not believe they could be wrong. Do not get me wrong I am just as bad and like apple products, I have an Ipad and I have an Iphone as does my wife and I love them all but the lack of flash player has really pushed me away from apple products as a whole. The simplest things like participating in a fantasy football draft I keep finding myself having to put down the Ipad and go get out the PC. My wife had always wanted an over priced mac book and I am glad we learned our leason with the I pad because we will never get one now.

Holy crap! No excuse for Apple not to accommodate support for flash on ipad2. Time for Steve to go. The Customer is always right. Let's get real.

Wrong about what? Apple losing marketshare? You wrote about your experience, you didn't backup your statement.
If you want flash you can do so on a laptop. Please get your facts straight. The UI on a tablet means more to me than flash ever could
I think it's not about choking supply, it's the demand is overwhelming. Apparently if u want flash sites so much, u can buy android devices. apple has made a long statement and arguing flash causes devices to be unstable and bugful. Maybe they r just doing that for our good.
flash is my first disappointment after i bought my ipad2. i should have bought galaxy tab instead. android is great OS. i think we ipad users are doomed due to personal issues between apple and adobe execs.
what a shame that such issues were reflected on the ipad in the expense of the public. personally my appreciation of the ipad diminished by the time i owned and toyed with it.
my pc is still the king in my arsenal. though my ipad is only a gadget, i consider it still a king haha... on the "para-lympics".
thanks steve stepped down, maybe the next junkie would add flash compatibility for the ipad. i wish.
"maybe the next junkie would add flash compatibility for the ipad."
It's up to Adobe to make Flash and they bowed out.
How nice that you feel Steve stepping down is good. He's the man who took a company, near it's death and turned it into the 2nd largest corporation in the world, who single handedly revolutionized the cell phone, the tablet and so many other things in the world of technology and the world has benefited significantly from his genius. And while you celebrate his stepping down, realize it is because he is likely dying.
Wow.....your compassion is amazing........
Am I missing something?
Please take steve jobs' "tablet" out of your mouth. "Single handedly revolutionized the cell phone"? Lol with 50,000 employees all they could come up with is what? Apps.... Wow, what else has the iphone brought to the table? Nothing. All the patents that apple are discussing in court sound like rubbish. The pinch to zoom? LMFAO.
People take the ipad and iphone because apple products are extremely easy to use and marketing genius. Thats about the only genius I have seen.

Lol, I rest my case. I can't believe the hype over the iphone. Just like the hype around the ipod. No one cares to do any research in the product they're buying. That guy with all his mates at the office are the same.
No ipad for me. I need flash for all the **** that i watch 🙂

If you don't like Apple and don't have an iPad, why are you spending your time in an Apple iPad forum?
To see if I can use flash on an ipad to watch ****. But I know im barking up the wrong tree. Just like the OP 🙂
You can go ahead and get your wife that MacBook. Flash has always been, and is still supported on every Apple device EXCEPT the iPhone and iPad.
I have seen that some apps do run flash on the ipad. Will I be able to go to sites like youtube.com with these apps?
Also how secure is flash compared to the alternative? Are there any alternatives? I read that flash is on 99% of internet connected computers. Granted that may be a bit high, still isn't the reason for flash security issues in its popularity?
Much like microsoft has more maleware but only because it is extremely more popular than a mac?
Yes mac's are secure, but also restricted. I think they are designed for the lesser intellegent users that buy them. Soon consumers will get more and more tech savy and want a bit of freedom in their platforms. Until then....
That's great. Then you truly have no reason to be here. This is afterall, a site to offer help to people who own iPads. Since you won't, you can spend your time somewhere else.
Cheers!
Or people on the cusp of buying one and looking for information to support the descision.
Is youtube.com out of the question?
