Don't know. Is your mouse not working?
Haha my link? Don't be - sorry if it came across as being yet another spam thingie - my intentions are pure, I promise 😝
Besides, if it was fraud or some spyware thingie, Apple (who has my apple ID to even create this forum account) would probably sue me to **** :-)
Anyways, just trying to help - noone is forcing your hand 🙂
my apologies.
I'm chomping at the bit, but since I'm running OS 10.6.8, it looks like I'll need to install Lion in order to install XCode from the App Store.
unless I can find an older version of XCode...
Well, no clue about that - as I wrote, I am no Mac programming specialist. Basically, XCode is only needed to compile the FFMpeg part... so any C++ compiler would probably do I guess - again, not a specialist so I just posted what worked for me ;-)
As I already wrote to you in the mail, I've updated the installer - it's a one-click install now, without all the Xcode hassle :-)
/Cheers
Your application looks fantastic…
But, I can't make it work!
I installed everything, I located the Master Folder and the cards to process, choose a Destination Folder to received the previous cards.
Then I clicked on 1…2...3...GO! it seems to work as the XML files appears in the window.
After processing, I open the destination folder and there is nothing in it…
I understand that you don't support your application but if you have an idea of what's happened, I will be the happiest man in the world!
Many thinks.
(inclued the screen shots)
Hmmm, sounds weird.
Can you write me an email at : rune (at) pika (dot) dk ? Well take a look at your logfiles, and see if we can find out what the problem is :-)
Hi,
I think your problem is related to the fact that you have spaces in your folder names - which I did not handle properly in my code.
I've uploaded a new version, same link (http://pika.dk/XfcpX/XfcpXInstaller.zip) - please try it out and let me know how it goes. If it still does not work, again, send me an email and I will take a look at your log files.
/Cheers
Sorry, but it's the same....
Best regards,
Hmmm...annoying.
I need to take a look at your logfiles then, to determine what the issue is.
It's a file called XfcpX.log and it resides in your home folder (/Users/<your-login-name>/).
Send it to: rune (at) pika (dot) dk
and I'll take a look at it.
/Rune
Oooops !
I tryed to find the file XfcpX.log but I could'nt find it....
Even with Spotlight.
The folder 20110819210134 is created in the destination folder.
But it is empty.
The application run when I click " 1...2...3... Go! (message "Processing card 1 of 1 ...."
And that' it.
So I don't undestand.
Sorry to make you be in trouble with my problem.
Alexandre
Don't be sorry - let's just try to see if we can get it to work for you ;-)
The fact you have no log file, is because you are still running the old version - that is my fault, I just double checked and I uploaded the wrong version this morning!!!
I do not have access to my PC until later today - so I cannot upload right now.
As soon as I get access to my PC I will upload the correct version, and let you know in this thread.
My fault, sorry :-)
There, I've uploaded the correct version now.
Address is still: http://pika.dk/XfcpX/XfcpXInstaller.zip
Try now, and let me know if it works for you :-)
/R
Yes !
You've done it!
Fantastic.
It works. And so fast.
Many thinks.
I have to rush today but come back to you very soon.
Have a good day.
Alexandre
Perfect - good to hear ;-)
/Cheers
