Not a solution here. Turning off auto locking is a very slight improvement, but long and unpredictible stalls are still a regular event. They are slightly less severe and slightly briefer but are still present. Also, presentation mode still remains broken by the same issue and is not solved by turning off auto locking. Changes to resume feature make no difference in the behavior.

The suggestion of reinstalling also doesn't solve the problem.

A real solution for continued use of Keynote in Lion will need to come from Apple.

Is IMPOSSIBLE to work... I still waiting the REAL SOLUTION since July 20th.... more than 20 days without work in my presentations... I'm a Professor... PLEASE! Apple needs to solve the problems with iWork suite , PLEASEEEE!!!

Wow, it's amazing to see how anal people get on here. I would assume that most people know if you rely on your computer, don't install a .0 product- wait for the kinks to get ironed out first.

To claim that people may only legitimately rely on a computer on which no .0 software is installed is an overstatement to say the least. It is also irrelevant to the issue of a solution to the problem. 😝

While "working with locked documents" might solve the play problem it doesn't solve the problem of endless stalls while trying to edit documents. So "working" with locked documents isn't a real solution and doesn't therefor "give the people ... a way to work."

There is no such claim- the claim is that if it was working fine before, why would you upgrade unless you were forced to if you know there is most likely going to be some problem/issues that you will run into? There are alternate solutions available that would get most people up and running again within a few hours (restores, reinstall iWork without the update).

It's not a .0 product. It's LION (10.7). Apple software not workin with an Apple system upgrade is unconscionable. ESPECiaLLY when other non-Apple applications are totally fine and all usable.

We are apporaching a month without a solution. Screw workarounds. This needs to be solved, unles Keynote is going the way of iWeb, eWorld, and mobileMe.

I am using it for weeks, I did upgrade it... after that i needed to re-format and restarted from scratch (lion with iwork without the Fu**** update) ... now I can work with it, NO PROBLEMS AT ALL !!!

But still, we are dealing with APPLE, the most valuable companyin the world...

are we the ones to solve issues ??!?!?! I don’t think so !!!

I tried to reinstall the app and NOTHING!!! I need to downloaded the iwork 6(update), because without this my iwork apps doesn't open.

Do You know What I need to do for run the iwork without the last update???
