Is it me, or are there major issues with iTunes update 10.4.0.80?

Is it me, or are there major issues with iTunes update 10.4.0.80? I cannot get it to connect to the iTunes store, nor will it back-up my iPhone. I also cannot paste album art. I see a lot of posts referring to the same issues, but no official replies from Apple. It's as if they are acting as if there is nothing wrong.

It's not us, it's definately iTunes! When I start it, I can't start the shop, it slows down my whole computer, when I try to synch my iPhone, it freezes the computer. Yesterday it worked very well and I thougt I've got it (I made a repair before), but today it's the same again. Can't really synch my iPhone!! Hello???? I use it for business, so I think after all i read in all the threads, Apple should hurry up!

I am having MAJOR problems with iTunes....NOT HAPPY AT ALL right now! I cannot even get it to open on my computer. Never have I ever had this problem until I installed the lastest software the other day. I just purchased a movie and wanted to get the digital copy on my iTunes so I could put the movie on my iPad well I can't even do that. I AM NOT HAPPY! I hope they solve this problem really soon!

Just want to add another example of missing backup function on iTunes 10.4.0.80. Not only is the function missing, but there is no no mention of "backup" in the iTunes help file. i can understand the possibility of a bug, but removing all mention of backup all together is something else. Has anyone determined if this was an intentional change, or a bug?

I notice there is a load more people with this problem than me. Error Code 42408. iTunes store won't open, can't authorize my account after getting my iPod replaced, even before that. Can'tt back up my iPod. More problems as well. Is this All due to the new iTunes update? Any help from Anyone bar re-installing iTunes, de-authorizing etc would be majorly grateful.

hey, has anyone noticed anything weird with the way voice memos sync (when itunes doesnt crash)?!

it used, i believe it did, to sync voice memos to computer. and the check box used to work, to either chose if i wanted to sync them or not. now it always syncs (no matter the checkbox status) and gets the voice memos on the music tab (1st on the left), and i strongly believe it didnt. so when ur shuffling some music you'll listen to your voice memos in the midle....

can anyone confirm this is the way its supposed to be!? i dont think so but i'm not really 100% sure of the way it was before.

plus, if you delete a voice memo on computer it stays on ipad or iphone, but there's no chance to get it back tocomputer again since the checkboxes for the "voice memos" syncing dont work

Three days ago I installed 10.4.0.80 and had some problem. Some error code I cannot remember. I did what it told me and that was to do some reset. After that it seems to be ok except for the Home Sharing. I cannot see two of my Windows 7 computers, my Windows Home Server and another WIFI Share device. I can see my IMac. The IMac sees all four. One of my other systems sees three devices, My IMac, Home Server and Wifi Share, but not my main system. This all happened after the upgrade. Is there an easy way to roll back the upgrade? or is there a fix?

I too am having major problems with WinXP and iTunes 10.4 - mainly in the form of 100% CPU and complete non responsiveness from the machine for 5-10 minutes! (mine is a capable dual core intel with and SSD).

I ran a Repair type installation which [I thought] fixed the issue, but after next restart it was back.

Is it me, or are there major issues with iTunes update 10.4.0.80?
