Apple ID password reset doesn't arrive

Which is why that's what I tell folks to do from the start. Asking for the Account Security Team should get someone to the correct level right away.

If you have a Mac you can save your Qs & As in a secure note in your keychain for future reference.

I just called applecare and they solved this. I just got a new phone and when they did the set up they had icloud set to my old apple ID. I deleted that old apple id off my phone and added my new one and boom! success!

when i send a verfication for my rescuse email adress it dosnt send iv waited ages now, i cant reset my security questions either because apple randomly changed them two years back and i cant change them. also i cant purchase anything off my ipod now because it wants me to awnser securety questions that i did not set! help

Try to login with complete email id (primary) as username!

This is so annoying, everything works fine its just when I reset my security questions and go back to answer them so I can make a purchase it just tels me that I answered the security questions wrong. Just wow...

I followed the chain of messages above trying to find a solution. I have the same problem. I'm syncing my iPhone 5 to iTunes and keep getting messages about all the content that will not sync because "not authorized." So I try to login to my Apple ID

- password is wrong

- try reset password

- chose "send email" but no email arrives (I even check 'junk' folder to be sure)

- go back to reset password and try "Answer security questions"

- says my DoB is wrong (like many have stated above, it's hard to forget our DoB)

So what is the solution? Re-purchase all the content that won't sync?

Apple ID security issues -

Call Apple Care and ask for the Account Security Team. They can assist you with your issue.

But I would drop all the bad attitude if you really want the person on the phone to help you.

More than 2 years later I'm having the same problem. I gave up after waiting an hour for the email last night. This morning I learned it eventually arrived, but it only has a 3-hour window to reply. GRRRRRRR. Now I'm waiting again. Gonna try Apple Care by phone. I want to spend money with them (ordering iphoto book). This is a customer wall.

I forgot my security questions answer and i want to reset but i cant do it because the " rest by e-mail not appeare"

I just spent an hour on the phone with an Apple support rep - who was excellent - getting this straightened out. An hour!!! I could not have untangled the mess without her. If you are not getting your "reset password" link - don't hesitate - call Apple support.

Same issue i cannot recieve my verification email (ten times today might i add) and therefore reset my apple ID security questions and it's getting frustrating that i already lost all new purchased music and now i cannot even BUY new music. Much frustratation trying to sort out this technology (~_~)^

Should be flawless and it isnt if you want to change your main apple ID. Receving verification email in gmail without required links. Pay ATTENTION to that.
