Man there is a serious amount of entitlement syndrome going on in this thread.

Yes, the iPhone 4S has Siri exclusively so that Apple can sell more of them. Why that surprises people, I honestly don't know. Does your business give away products or services for free? Probably not.

Modular747 is right. You are not entitled to Siri just because you have an Apple product.

There's no independent verifications of jb phones running Siri "very well" - just the self-promoting claims of the hackers (and their lackey drones here). No one realy knows how well and consistently Siri works, or how running Siri impacts general performance and stability on non iP4S models.

FYI, Apple just announced that they do NOT plan to let Siri run on older model phones/iPods, based on engineering evaluations.

It enrages more than surprises them. After all, why should they have to pay for an update??

It's extremely unlikely that these whiners and ranters run or own businesses. They are the takers, not the makers. They contribute nothing to others, including in this forum.

For all the people who say Siri does not work on iPhone 4:

I think a lot people don't know that Siri was available on the App store before 4S came out. And was yanked when 4S was announced.

I'm also willing to bet that it will be back once they iron out all the bugs.

Hey "Ace",

Maybe if you had bothered to read any of the thread you're posting in, you would know that we already know about the old Siri app that was pulled from the App Store (most knew about it long before this thread started). You would also know that the old Siri app is far far less fuctional than the Siri beta in the iPhone 4S (which is not an app, but integrated in the iOS).

Save your gambling money - there will never be a Siri app back in the App Store and it won't be in any iOS for any iPhones other than the iP4S (and later).

Modular, I don't need to save my money, because I could care less about having Siri. I don't even use the voice commands that come with IOS 4. (which takes more processing power than Siri.)

Correct me if I'm wrong. Siri takes a voice sample, sends it to the server, gets the results and then desifers the command.

How much more processing power does that need. That's the same thing that Shazam does.

I understand that it is more powerful than the old Siri. And the only reason for that is that it is integrated
