can i sell songs made on garage band?

Any reason to dig out this old and answered thread after two years? Like, anything new to add?

Nothing new to add. I was looking for other answers and came across this one and I liked the contents of a reply. Is there a problem?

I live in the USA, now I haven't read all of the comments, but could I sell my songs made from loops and apple tracks? I mean there's more then one playing and whatnot so it's not just one track that I'm trying to "re-sell", I've made like 60 songs so far and be a shame if I couldn't put it on the Itunes Store. Again, I arranged the loops to play in a certain order (What we call composing music) so it not exactly selling one loop. More like my own creation compiled up of other's tracks. Of course whenever I have shared my music with I friend, I've told them that I do not own the tracks. So where exactly do I stand if I wanna sell my songs?

What if you change the speed of the loops and pitching them ? Can you use them still?

GarageBand's loops are meant to adopt to the tempo and the key of your song automatically. SO changing the pitch by transposing the loop and changing the tempo should not matter.
